Careers @ 27partners
Founded in 2012 by Chris Lloyd, 27partners began as a one man project. Chris realised, while working at his previous job for Kollective, that current business markets for enterprise video are dominated by set products that once paid for, you can only hope fit your organisation’s requirements. He pinpointed market need for a digital consultancy company that works closely with other businesses to drive cultural and digital change with customised and accessible video technology. This was the birth of 27partners.
Our first client was SAB Miller, a global drinks company. As a huge business selling around 140,000 bottles of beer every minute across the globe, they needed a collaboration portal for their leadership team to work together irrespective of location. We worked closely with SAB Miller to design and build a premium video magazine ‘the Source’. This E Magazine was filled with professionally written articles and high resolution videos for the executives of their company all across the globe with access to download and read later even if offline.
Soon afterwards universal bank Barclays contacted us needing a business case for their future use of video and a network overhaul. They worked with us to package up their global video strategy with recommendations to let Barclays build video into their network, assured by the information we had provided them with.
Having worked with two hugely successful businesses, we learnt that when you deploy a video service, everyone has the opportunity to use it. If the service is successful, it becomes highly visible and we found other organisations became interested and opened us up to many exciting projects.
When Rob Dumbleton joined the team the focus shifted to additionally covering digital consultancy to improve the business to business experience and we have expanded our business to include app creation and development, with more software developers and digital consultants joining the team.
We began to see more opportunities for creating apps, products and offering support to follow. These regular follow-ups apply a ‘future proofed’ system which constantly alters and adds to the existing software. Our continual focus remains strong; good communication, engagement, learning and development for business. We pride ourselves on not being a consumer apps company, everything we do involves internal business to business work, internally facing. We understand and know the best ways to ensure technology is successful within large enterprise environments.
When we think back to our humble beginnings, taking meetings at the Southbank Royal Festival Hall, we can see how far we have come. Dreaming of beautiful offices based in the centre of London where people want to work and companies and clients want to spend time has now become a reality. From our founding member Chris Lloyd’s work to a company filled with the intelligence and initiative of a growing and thriving team. Our combined knowledge and ability has created some of the finest video enterprise technology to date. And we are only just getting started.
We're humble, we always respect and listen to others, but we're not afraid to challenge, especially when it comes to ourselves. We're all part of one big family who go above and beyond to provide solutions and not just present problems. Most importantly we have fun whilst we do it, because all of this together makes us happy!
